Ronelle has taken on the task of being our Africa Project Manager. She has extensive experience in immigration, so you can rest assured that you and your business will be in good hands.

We chatted to Ronelle to get to know her better and to find out more about the big plans she has for Intergate Africa…

Q: Could you please elaborate on your role at Intergate?

As the Africa Project Manager of Intergate Africa, I’ll be expanding our current service we offer into Africa!

The main aim will be identifying and leveraging cost-effective, fully-compliant immigration solutions. This will enable us to provide the highest and most professional standards of service to our clients, providing sponsored employment for expatriates, all visa types, business migration services, and naturalization processes for all countries in Africa.

The goal is to manage a vendor base in order to maximize the success rate of the solutions provided to our customers. This will optimize the customer’s return as conflicting interests can and will be eliminated.

Q: Do you mind telling us about the road leading up to taking up your position at Intergate?

I’ve always had an interest in the various religions, cultures and people of our country, a real rainbow nation.

However, my interest in immigration and emigration stems from the marketing classes I took in college. As a marketing tactic to attract tourists, my lecturer said, “As of 2009, about 14.7 percent of the world’s population resides in Africa”. This gave me a new appreciation and curiosity for the riches of this country and the countries outside of Africa.

I have worked in the immigration industry for most of my career, starting with Canadian immigration and moving onto immigration and emigration to Africa.

Q: What do you love most about this industry?

There is literally never a dull moment in this industry.

With +6 years’ experience in this field, I love the connection you build with every client. Whether corporate or private, you experience their anxiousness with them.

This is of course also an industry where you learn daily!

I’ve been privileged enough to be part of an industry where I can develop knowledge in a hands-on way, helping others and using this knowledge to be an asset to my employer.

Q: Any exciting plans in the pipeline for Intergate Africa?

Yes, yes and yes!!! With the expansion of Intergate Africa’s service, we will soon have a local presence in various countries.

Q: What can our clients expect when dealing with Intergate Africa?

Our clients can expect accuracy, punctuality and honesty. The Intergate Africa team will be monitoring the changes in immigration legislation, policies and procedures in the various countries to ensure our clients are informed on the latest immigration changes and potential red flags.

Helping our clients achieve their dreams of emigrating is only an added benefit.

Q: What would you say is the top reason someone should work with Intergate Africa?

Should you want to be alleviated from the complexity of immigrating and/or emigrating to Africa, Intergate Africa would be your solution to all your problems. We are not just a service provider but we’re a partner.

Q: What is the one piece of advice you have for anyone who wants to do business in Africa?

Expanding into Africa can be quite costly but make sure you get value for your money. Team up with a partner like Intergate Africa who will provide you with cost-effective solutions.

Q: If you didn’t work in immigration, what would you be doing?

My qualifications are in business and project management and I am currently in the process of completing my LLB. If it was not immigration, I would’ve studied commercial law to become a business lawyer.

I love helping people, so I know somehow it would’ve been involved with lots and lots of people.
